240v Electric appliances will only work when hooked up to an external electric power supply.
12v Electric appliances such as lights and radio will work on battery system.
Heating, hot water & cooking are gas powered
Fridge freezer are fully electric and battery powered
This vehicle runs on Diesel with Adblue included for the first 1500 mile weekly allowance. Additional mileage is chargeable and more Adblue may need to be added at hirers cost

Contents included in your hire:

Customers are advised to bring their own provisions (food and drink), towels and bedding. The onboard water tanks will be supplied ready filled for your journey, we recommend that drinking water is boiled before use.

Booking your motorhome...

Hiring features:

Collections and returns:

Your hire vehicle will be available for our standard collection times between 3 and 5pm and return between 9 and 11am Mondays to Saturdays, closed Sundays. Should you require an earlier collection time between 9 and 11, or returns between 3 and 5pm, there will be an additional fees of £70 each or £140 for both. Please advise on your booking.

Safe driving Policy:

During the period of hire, maintaining the vehicle in a safe and appropriate manner is the customer’s legal responsibility. We require all customers to adhere to road laws and regulations throughout the duration of the rental.

Customer car parking:

Customers can leave one vehicle at our secure parking compound for the duration of the hire for free. Our parking features 24hr cctv, however please note that all vehicles are parked at the owners risk and Why Knott Hire cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, theft or damage to your vehicles.

Additional Guest cars can also be parked for a daily charge for the duration of your hire.

All bookings are done online. A 20% deposit at time of booking secures your dates.
Remaining balance is due 4 weeks prior to departure.
Security deposit is due 24 hours prior to collection that will be emailed out to you with arrival information
A copy of our terms and conditions for hire can be downloaded here. This needs to be read and approved before your order is accepted. This will be asked at checkout.

Customer Liability for traffic violations:

Please be aware that the full responsibility for any and all traffic violations rests with the customer. This includes, but is not limited to:

Speeding fines

Unauthorised parking penalties

Driving without due care

Toll charges

Mechanical damage such as oil, tyres, windscreen, furniture and overhead damage

All costs incurred as a result of these violations will be the sole liability of the customer. By hiring our vehicle, you agree to this safe driving and liability policy.
