Our fleet isn’t a mixed collection of ageing rentals—it is an exclusive line-up of eight hand-picked, late-model luxury motorhomes and campervans from leading manufacturers like Bailey, Adria, Auto-Trail, and Roller Team. Each vehicle is prepared to a pristine hotel standard between every hire.

Seven out of eight vehicles feature automatic transmissions, every van includes a modern fitted kitchen and bathroom, central heating, hot water, and comprehensive insurance with RAC breakdown cover.

The Whyknott Hire centre is strategically based in Bridgend, South Wales, only two minutes from the M4. We provide an effortless pick-up location for travellers from Cardiff, Swansea, Bristol, and the West, as well as a seamless gateway if you are arriving from London, the Midlands, or the North for an unforgettable Welsh road trip. • Electric Drop-Down Beds: Some of our models feature the convenience and space saving benefit of ceiling mounted electric drop down double beds – Simply press a button to lower the bed smoothly over the lounge area.

• Automatic Transmissions: Most of our vehicles are automatic, offering relaxed, effortless driving even if it is your first time behind the wheel of a motorhome.

• Fully Equipped Kitchens: Includes a hob, oven and grill, fridge-freezer, crockery, cutlery, pans, utensils and a kettle. (Models Anna and Alys also feature a built-in microwave).

• Onboard Heating & Hot Water: Enjoy comfortable touring in any season, whether you are hooked up to a site or exploring completely off-grid.

• Starlink Satellite Wi-Fi: Available as an additional cost option for total connectivity,  allowing you to work, stream, or video-call from a remote clifftop even with zero mobile signal.

• Pet-Friendly Options: You are  welcome you to bring your beloved dogs and cats for a nominal additional cost. Remember to bring their favourite blanket and help protect the upholstery. Please clean the vehicle before returning.

• Outdoor Essentials: Bike racks are available for some of the vehicles for an active, basecamp-style holidays. Check availability on the individual vehicle pages. Outdoor furniture  is also available as an additional cost option.

• Robyn (Roller Team Auto Roller 707): 6-berth featuring a convenient electric drop-down bed, manual transmission, includes a heavy-duty bike rack that carries up to 4 bikes. 

• Anna (Auto-Trail F-Line F60): 4-berth featuring a convenient electric drop-down bed, automatic transmission, Kitchen. includes a fitted microwave. Compact, nimble, and exceptionally easy to drive. 

• Alys (Auto-Trail F-Line F74): 4-berth featuring a convenient electric drop-down bed, automatic transmission, Kitchen. includes a fitted microwave. Designed with a short wheelbase for effortless manoeuvrability around town.

Nightly rates run from £95 per night off-peak (outside school holidays), with standard rates ranging from £135 to £185 per night depending on the specific vehicle. All listed prices are fully inclusive of VAT.
