Navigating Welsh Roads: Wales features many single-track roads, particularly in the west and north, equipped with passing places. Drive them at a relaxed pace and always use the pull-ins to let traffic pass.
Wild camping is generally not permitted in Wales without explicit landowner permission, and local council car parks strictly prohibit overnight sleeping. In practice, this means staying at established campsites, certificated locations, and approved pub stopovers, of which there are hundreds nationwide.
