Frequently Asked Question

Planning your next big adventure? You likely have questions about our luxury motorhome hire service. We’ve gathered the most common queries here to help you get started. If your question isn’t answered below, please don’t hesitate to contact us at our South Wales office.

What is the cost of hiring a motorhome?

The total cost for your motorhome rental depends on three main factors: the specific vehicle you choose, the time of year you book, and the length of your holiday. Optional extras, such as additional drivers or accessories, will be clearly itemised on your booking form. Once you review and approve the cost, you can secure your booking with a deposit.

How many people can travel in the motorhomes?

While our motorhomes offer spacious seating, UK law requires every passenger to be secured with a seatbelt. The capacity for each model varies:

  • Crystal (7 Berth): Can legally travel with 7 passengers.
  • Luna (4 Berth): Can legally travel with 5 passengers.
  • Robyn (6 Berth): Can legally travel with 6 passengers.
  • Bella (6 Berth): Can legally travel with 4 passengers.
  • Bethan (6 Berth): Can legally travel with 4 passengers.

What are the sleeping arrangements like?

Our fleet offers a variety of bedding layouts to suit different groups. This makes our vehicles perfect for family motorhome hire or trips with friends.

  • Crystal (7 Berth): Features a fixed over-cab double bed, two rear bunk beds, a fold-out double, and a single bed—ideal for larger families.
  • Luna (4 Berth): Includes a fixed over-cab double and  a fixed rear double.
  • Robyn (6 Berth): Comes with two rear bunk beds, a central drop-down double, and a central fold-out double bed.
  • Bella (6 Berth): Has two drop-down double beds and a fold-out rear double bed.
  • Bethan (6 Berth): Has two drop-down double beds and a fold-out rear double bed.

What happens in the event of a breakdown?

Your peace of mind is our priority. Every vehicle in our luxury motorhome hire fleet is covered by specialist RAC international breakdown assistance, ensuring you have a worry-free journey from start to finish.

Do I need a special driving licence?

Anyone with a B category on their driving licence is eligible to drive our motorhomes. They must have held their driving licence for a minimum of  two years. Anyone with more than 6 penalty points on their licence will need to discuss their requirements. Anyone under 25 and over 70 will also need to discuss their travel requirements. Crystal, Luna, Bethan and Bella have effortless automatic transmission whilst Robyn is a manual gearbox.

How do I make the payment?

You can pay for your motorhome hire through our secure booking portal or separately via direct bank transfer. Please contact us for details 07949 815710 if you need further information and support.

How much is the security bond?

To insure the motorhome for the duration of your hire we ask that a security bond be paid to safeguard against any damage to the motorhomes. The security bond is payable on the day of collection.

The mandatory security bond for a  hire is £1,200. This is typically pre-authorised on a credit card. The money does not leave your account but will be ring fenced by your bank. If you pay using a debit card, the money will be physically taken and held securely on our booking system. Provided the motorhome is returned in the same state it was when it left, you will receive your full deposit back. Unless a deduction, as per terms and conditions, needs to be made, we aim to return/release the deposit within 10 working days.

What mileage is included in the price?

You can travel up to 1,500 mile per week. Additional mileage is charged at 0.32p per mile
