Everything you need to plan a motorhome holiday in Wales — when to go, where to stay and what to pack.
When to go
Spring and autumn are the quietest and cheapest; summer is busiest and best for the beaches. Wales is beautiful year-round, and the van’s heating makes even winter trips cosy.
Where to stay
Mix proper campsites (electric hook-up, showers, waste disposal) with the odd quieter spot for peace. Book ahead for summer and bank holidays, and never stay overnight where it’s prohibited.
What to pack
Layers and waterproofs, walking shoes, beach kit, and a few games for rainy afternoons. We provide the kitchen kit and the essentials (please bring your own bedding and towels) — your booking confirmation lists exactly what’s included.
On the road
Plan shorter drives than you’d think, fill up with fuel and water in good time, and only empty waste at proper disposal points. Take it steady on the Welsh lanes and enjoy the views.
